My brother is in hospital awaiting a second stent to be fitted. The first one was fitted in December. What are the chances of it working? The cancer is growing rapidly.

Unfortunately I'm not able to advise on this - hopefully you have an opportunity to speak to his doctor to find out more. You are also welcome to post in the 'Ask the Nurses' section of this forum to get a response from one of our nurses, but again it may be difficult for them to advise on a specific basis.
Hi Ben, thanks for replying. Unfortunately, my brother is now end of life. He’s coming home today to spend his last days in peace and comfort with his loved ones around him. What a very sad and distressing journey this has been.

I lost my husband to this cancer years ago. I am so moved and so glad he will be in the comfort of home with his loved ones around him, Take care xx
