Terminal Stomach Cancer

My wife was diagnosed with terminal stomach cancer end of June 23. The tumour was pressing on her stomach near the duodenum thus not allowing food to pass through so she kept being sick. A stent was inserted and this procedure was successful. After spells in hospital recently the tumour has now blocked the stent. Because of this she has now had fitted a gadget that injects her medication into her body because taking them orally would not be an option. The Gastric surgeon is being asked whether he can put in another stent which the hospital doctor said it was 50:50 whether it would work.

Question to you is :-

I have read that laser treatment could be administered.  Why hasn't this been discussed. My lovely wife has a few weeks to live.

Thank you
