I'm sorry to hear about your friend's diagnosis. It's obviously a worrying time for you as he starts his treatment. 

We've quite a number of members here on the forum who have either been through treatment for OC or have supported a loved one through their journey. I'd suggest having a look at some of the posts on this thread and posting a reply to introduce yourself. Hopefully some of the members there will stop by to say Hello! and share their experiences with you.
