My mum was diagnosed with cmml just before Christmas 2021 we were told she would have treatment and would hopefully be ok. Treatment made her extremely ill and did nothing to get rid off the cancer. Fast forward to Monday and we were told that her cmml had transformed to aml and there was nothing more they could do. We were told she has months left after I asked them. 
Pallative care team have called with an appointment. I am in shock I went through this with my dad. 
I just wish I knew what months was. Everything online seems to say 2months. I don't know what the symptoms are to look out for. If anybody has been through this please let me know - no matter how graphic I want to arm myself with information. My dad had a long death from liver failure and that was awful
