I'm so sorry to hear your husband has brain cancer and that he may be nearing the end of his cancer journey Kingfisher.

I can't begin to imagine how difficult this must be for you but please don't feel bad or guilty for any of the thoughts you're having right now. They're completely natural and show just how much you love and care for your husband. Many of our members have contended with similar thoughts so you are not alone and hopefully some of them will be along soon to offer you their support and advice.

It must be so horrible for you right now seeing your husband go through this. I was recently told that cancer had spread to my brain as well, I'm not as bad as your husband is yet but I guess I'm heading that way. How you are feeling right now is totally normal and fine. No one wants to see anyone that they love in such a horrible way! You just want him to be at peace and in no more pain, it shows what a lovely, kind and thoughtful person you are.

Take it one day at a time and remember to be kind to yourself. You are doing so well.

Thank u this chat helping a lot   just wish there was a way u dont have to see loved ones go through  this process    surely the patient if in the right state mind should have his say, the nursing care have be so good but it must put pressure on them to see mye everyday just to set his syringe driver up  and the carers comming in too

I can understand your feelings with this. I often feel and think that as well on harder days. But at the same time you can both be together and share and create memories which you'll be able to cherish.

And please don't worry about the nurses and carers. They are trained to deal with this and more. You can always turn and talk to them anytime you need to. They are there to help you and your husband.
