  • I went through this with my dad who passed away 5 years ago from Pulmonary fibrosis he turned to his bed about a month before he passed away he slept alot and barely ate or drank anything! The time we knew he was getting close was he started seeing people and reaching out! He went into a really deep sleep which he didn't wake from the day before he passed away then the day he passed his breathing got really noisy which was very distressing for us but he was unaware! We watched his feet because a hospice nurse said you can tell when they are about to pass their feet go dark blue which they did and he passed away minutes later! Deaths are all different some are quick some linger but I think deep down in your heart you'll know when it is near! I'm currently going through the same with my mom who was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer and she is deteriorating before our eyes! Sending you strength love and my prayers at this time!
