Cancer spots on my liver have to have surgery

Hi all on 6 may this year was  diagnosed with bowel cancer which I’m only 37 and doctor kept telling me I had ibs !! which I had my right colon removed which was big surgery and doc see spots on my liver , I’ve had 6 session of chemo flofoxiri which wasnt nice but had to be dne . They found 8 spot on my liver which biggest one was 16  mum now  shrunk  To 10mm got to have liver surgery 27 Oct this month pretty scared has any one gone  through  The Same or had liver surgery?

    So sorry to hear you're going through this. My wife was 26 when she was diagnosed with primary liver cancer, and underwent a liver resection in 2012. She had 60% of her liver and gall bladder removed. 8 years on and is still fighting cancer spread to her lungs today, but to look at her you wouldnt know the surgeries she had (other than the awesome scars!) I'm More than happy to answer any questions as best I can.

    Hi,

    may I ask what symptoms your wife had I am also 26 they found 6 liver leisons largest being 4cm on ultrasound I am awaiting seeing specialist this Tuesday coming did she have any symptoms etc? My main symptoms is lower right back pain doctors are fairly confident they are cyst but still so worried. Hope your wife is ok x

    hi when started to get it was in middle of my belly like burning and cramp and really bad back pain then I gt rushed to hos and got  diagnosed  With bowl cancer then they see shadows on my liver which I had 8 biggest was 1.6mm but the chemo I was on shrunk them in a big way then I’ve just had half of liver removed and he thinks he got it all but the put me bk on chemo to mop up so fingers crossed hope u get good news x
