Hi everyone,
I have been diagnosed with womb cancer stage 1 this year on 14th April. They found it after removing polyps from my womb. It was a shock for me as I am 30 years old with no obesity. I was referred to a hospital as they are very good in cancer research and they would offer me a different treatment than hysterectomy. I don't have kids and I didn't have any doubt that I want to try. The Mirena coil was inserted in the middle of May. The biopsy has showed precancerous cells- atypical endometrial hyperplasia I think it is called. My first check up was due in 3 months. A few days after I was diagnosed I was thinking what I've done wrong and what I can do to help myself. I started to walk in the park every day and cut off any sugar, meat and milk from my food. At the end of August was my first byopsy after the coil was inserted. Yesterday I had the call with the results - the byopsy showed normal cells. It was the happiest day in my life. The doctor told me that it's better to have the coil for 3 more months as the usual treatment is for 6 months. They will remove the coil on 19th November and I will start trying for a baby. My strongest advise is believe in yourself, immediately start a healthy diet and walking or exercising every day. Sorry for the long post and the bad English. I was reading this forum for months and was hoping to find good results so I know how much my story will help other women to stay positive and believe that everything will be fine.
