Hi Wooster, my mum had full on hallucinations and paranoia when she was put on morphine. She changed from being a mild manner woman to someone that myself and my dad did not recognise. She was so bad and so nasty to us that we spoke to the doctors (she was in hospital at the time), they changed her medication to Oxycodone which does the same as morphine, but without the awful effects. Within 12 hours of being on the new medication she was back to normal & it did a good job of keeping her pain under control.

Speak to your doctors, you don't need to suffer with this, there are alternatives. I hope that they sort it out for you.
