What a shock it must have been for you to be diagnosed with ALK+ lung cancer at such a young age when you thought you had a viral infection. This is a relatively rare form of lung cancer and there is a charity ALK Positive Lung Cancer (UK) established by a group of patients and carers which provides support for people affected by ALK positive non small cell lung cancer. 

I thought I would also let you know about Csand 's stage 4 lung cancer thread - this member posted a few months ago mentioning that they are ALK+ and on Alectinib and they were looking to get in contact with someone else going through the same treatment or diagnosis so don't hesitate to drop them a line if you wish to do so.
