Suspected Ovarian Cancer

I am 28 years old and have been back and forth with my doctors since September. I finally got a pelvic ultrasound on Friday after the doctor thought I had PCOS. I got my scan results which have shown a large cyst engulfing my left ovary, and a “cystic area with multiple separations”. I have been urgently referred to a consultant who I am speaking with on Monday and I had my CA125 bloods taken yesterday. The hospital told me the blood results would be back yesterday evening but they aren’t. I am going crazy waiting for the results and don’t know what to do or what to expect moving forward. I am so scared

    I'm sorry to hear that you've had some ongoing health problems over the last few months. It's good to hear that you now are starting to get some answers about what has potentially been causing your symptoms and hopefully when you speak with the Consultant on Monday they will be able to give you some answers and reassurance. 

    We know that for many people this period of waiting and uncertainty can be difficult. I know they will be happy to listen and offer any advice, information and support they can.
