  • Hi Kindnessidblessing,

I am so sorry to hear about your friend's Triple Negative Breast Cancer diagnosis at a young age. This is a frightening time for you and your friend's loved ones and it can be hard to know what to say or how to show your support your friend in the best possible way. There is detailed information on our website on Triple Negative Breast Cancer which you might find useful - it can help sometimes just to get all the facts about your friend's diagnosis so that you can understand TNBC better and how she may be affected.

I would also like to direct you to this page for Family, Friends and Carers which has great tips on how to support someone with cancer as well as on taking care of yourself and your own wellbeing. I hope that you will hear from others here who have been in a similar place and that they will be along shortly with helpful tips and advice based on their personal experiences of supporting a loved one through cancer. I have slightly edited your title to provide the full context of your story so that it can be spotted easily by others and so that it helps you get a few helpful replies from other members of this community. I thought I would mention for example  's thread - this member's mum was diagnosed 10 months ago with TNBC so they would be a good person for you to connect with who will understand what it is like to support someone who has been diagnosed with TNBC. There will be many others too who will I hope pop by and say hello.

Best wishes to you and your friend during this difficult time,
