Post Op after Bilobectomy

Hi guys, 

I am 26 and have been diagnosed with NET lung cancer and am going for a bilobectomy in the next few weeks. I’m just wondering how other people who had lung resection surgery coped after surgery? Were they able to walk far? Will I need a weelchair if a friend wants to bring me out of the house for a few hours? I’m also very nervous about the surgery itself as I also suffer with asthma and am concerned about this resulting in any complications. I would be grateful to hear of other peoples experiences!

    Hopefully some of our members who have had this surgery will stop by when they can to share their experiences and advice but if you'd like to talk things through with one of our cancer nurses, they're available on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m. They're very insightful and will do all they can to answer your questions and address your concerns.
