I am reaching out to anyone who has had this that may have been able to over come it or have positive results. What did you do? Who did you see? Has anyone been told they have an fgfr mutation (think it's that one)
im grasping at straws for hope

Hello Benali,
A warm welcome to our forum where I hope you will find others who have been diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma and who have had the mutation you've mentioned and that they will be along shortly to share their story with you. I've had a little look around the forum for you and found this thread by [@Broadstairs] which mentions her husband was diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma a few months ago so hopefully you can exchange experiences here soon or feel free to respond to her thread.
You can read more about cholangiocarcinoma on this page and I hope that it will answer some of the questions you may have.
Should you need to talk to one of our cancer nurses and ask them anything, feel free to give them a call on this free number 0808 800 4040 - their line is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.
We're thinking of you during this difficult time and wanted you to know that you are not alone and I hope that you will soon hear from the stories of others who have had a similar diagnosis.
Best wishes,
Lucie, Cancer Chat Moderator
