Here in the UK, radiotherapy plays a part in treating more than 140,000 people with cancer every year.
Many of us have undergone, or have a loved one who has been through, radiotherapy treatment.
In this episode of That Cancer Conversation, the CRUK podcast team talks about what radiotherapy is, as well as breaking down the history and evolution of this treatment. It’s come a long way since 1896!
If you would like to share your experience of radiotherapy, or your tips for getting through treatment, then please do post below.
If you have any questions, our team of nurses are available to chat with on 0808 800 4040, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
