Her Majesty the Queen

We’re greatly saddened by the news that Her Majesty the Queen has died. Our deepest sympathies are with the Royal Family.

As our Patron, she kindly supported us over the years, opening our laboratories and institutes which are an integral part of the charity’s pioneering work into the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer.

We're so grateful for the support she has given us over the years and we will remember with affection and gratitude the lifetime of service our longest-reigning Monarch has given us.

  • A sad day for the country. I was privileged to meet this wonderful lady twice in my life. I was a Police Officer when she came to open a new art gallery in our city. She was without a lady in waiting so I was a stand in and she was so kind and complementary. I then met her again when we were invited to one of the Buckingham Palace garden parties. A light has gone out of our lives. May Queen Elizabeth Rest In Peace.

  • A very sad day for this country and our world. I thought the Queen was a gem who shone in the darkest times and gave hope with a warm smile every time she spoke. Such a lovely lady. The world has lost a beautiful soul today. Gone but never forgotten. Rest In Piece, Your Majesty. X
