My wife left me in June this year

Hi My wife was told she had Lymphoma in November last year and it could be treated . In May this year The said chemo is doing well and sent my wife home . In June the Cancer came back and two weeks later the doctors called me in and told me she had days to live . I stayed and sleep in a chair beside her they stopped feeding her she died 10th June . It's very hard after 40 years of marriage ,The loneliness is the worst .

    I know nothing I can say or do can take away the pain you must be feeling at the moment but I'm glad you've reached out to us as many of our members are in a similar position and will completely understand what you are going through.

    I'm sure some of them will be along soon to offer your their support and kind words but in the meantime I want you to know that we are here for you.

  • I am so sorry for the loss of your wife. My husband, Ian, passed away on June 18th, just seven weeks after diagnosis. The only symptoms he had was a strange feeling in his stomach.

    It is that sense of loss, sadness and loneliness that surround me and is so hard to live with. 
     

    it's good that you have come on this site as you will realise you are not alone in feeling as you do. Sadly, we are all living this nightmare together but I've found posting on various sites does help me express my thoughts and feelings.
