Hi I can't sleep.

My mum fought anal cancer and had all clear

Years later she complained of a sore back but tests were clear in July 2020

By October 2020 she passed from pancreatic cancer

I'm a nurse and wracked with guilt that I missed something

Also didn't see her as much with lockdown so wracked with guilt

Its hitting me hard I won't see her again

i'm going through the same thing, the guilt of thinking she's being dramatic and pushing her away- thinking that she'll be better in no time and will pull through. not texting back because i was thinking that she'd be home soon.
god it hurts so bad

Hi yeah I totally get this and yeah it hurts so bad
I used to say oh mum u got the all clear stop looking for issues

Then she was gone

Hi, I miss my mum. It has been 2 years since she passed. Not a day goes past that I do not think of her. The pain I feel does not diminish, but the pain is less intense sometimes - then BOOM!. I read an article about "a ball in box", By Lauren Herschel, and on reading it, it immediately struck a cord and I find it is still relevant today. twitter.com/.../946888282444460033
