Missing my mum more than ever x

I lost my mum when I was 10 to skin cancer it happened within a 2 month period. I never understood why it was my mum that had to go it was never a concept to me, I'm now 25 and all I can think about lately is what she's missed in my life so far. I do feel so lost without her like something isn't quite right... losing a parent isn't something I'd wish on someone it really isn't. Everyone always says I don't know how you do it but honestly you take each day as it comes and you eventually learn to live with it, just want to say big hugs to everyone on this forum you don't realise how strong and amazing you all! Xx

  • Hi

I too lost my Dad at a young age, I was 12.

So unfair and like you say... why my Dad... the first I ever heard of cancer.

I'm in my 50's now with my own grown up children, my Dad would have loved them so much, he would have made them toys out of wood like he did my dolls house.

    He was perfect!

    It does get easier xx
