Hi, we lost our beloved son Matthew on 8 Jan this year. He was diagnosed last March with the rare, aggressive Rhabdomyo sarcoma and was not expected to live then. He fought and survived and we travelled to Australia to support him and his wife and 2 little girls whilst he went through his chemo. We stayed for 4 months and returned when his health was on the up. Tragically it returned and he was told on the 22nd Dec that it was the end of the road. Again lockdown and quarantine didn't allow us to be with him and hug him when he passed. We arrived to attend his service but the son we saw in the funeral home was a sad image of what this horrible disease does to a human being. We are devastated as is his younger sister, his only sibling. We can't see a way forward.
