My mum recently passed away suddenly with Lung Cancer, and has totally destroyed our family.
She was unwell for some time but we didn't realise how bad it really was, and was due to be starting new treatment soon... But for a couple of months things got worse.. She was taken into hospital for low oxygen and I remember what she told my sister basically saying if she goes in, she won't come out and she was right.
She passed away on a Saturday as they was planning to get her to come home on the Monday,to spend some time at home, but we never got the chance to see her before she passed and had to see her at the hospital after it happened. My dad is destroyed they were married for 57 years and he has recently had a stroke and he can't cope without my Mum and nor can I, the pain is just unbearable.
