I am so so sorry to hear about the passing of your mum. All my love being sent to you.

What an amazing job you did having your mum at home with you and your dad. That's a huge thing to do and something you should be so proud of. Im a community nurse and I am always so proud of people who keep their loved ones at home to support their wishes if it is possible to do that.
 

I also lost my amazing dad recently (October 2020). We looked after him at home and to start off with I felt upset over him dying at home and us still then living on in the house but those feelings have turned into comfort a few weeks down the line. I am sure you did an amazing job and in time I hope that feeling of being haunted turns to something positive.

I am so glad you got to see mum at the chapel of rest. Hopefully this will help you hugely.
