I lost my wife to cancer recently and I have never felt so alone. I am experiencing all kinds of extreme emotions from grief to guilt. I really want to connect and talk to others who have been through this terrible period.
Hope you get some peacuful time in India. My hometown is Darjeeling, North India it's a beautiful hilly town near to Himalayas though I haven't been there for a while. Best place to visit is North India and South, places like Goa, Kerala.

You're very right about being cheated of the life you should've had with her and your so right it will be perfect for you next time you meet. I to dream about that day it's horrible to want to wish my life away but I do big time but at the same time I need to stay for my kids so I have to wate so long to see her face to face x

I plan to go to Varanasi, Amritsar, Agra, Dehli, Jaipur, Jodhpur and Udaipur. I think that will be enough to keep me busy and plenty of beautiful candles to be lit.

These are beautiful places. I worked was an secretary for executive chairman in UN office in Delhi at Lodi Estate, but I weather in summer was unbearable, it's too hot. So stayed in Delhi only for two years. But I enjoyed my work as an program secretary in UN office in Kathmandu, Nepal. If you want any information I'm happy to help you.

Yes Richard I worked in Kathmandu couple of years. If you like trekking, hiking Nepal is perfect place. As you know world's highest mountain Mount Everest, it's in Nepal. Hope your journey to India will give you compassion, comfort and peace.
Compassion I now have but definitely need comfort and peace.
I am definitely not the same person I was - this situation has changed everything. Now the only thing that seems to have any meaning in life is 'love and compassion'.
