Missing mum

I'm sorry you found this Christmas tougher than last year's Gtp but I'm really glad the forum has helped you through.

It's also very kind of you to think of others at this time and I'm sure your post really helped those who were struggling to know they were not alone.

We'll always be here for you Gtp.

Kind regards,

Steph, Cancer Chat Moderator

  • Hi, this is my first post on here. I've been reading the posts on here over the past few months. I have found this forum a help as sometimes I feel like I'm going mad with grief but I realise I'm not alone in feeling that way.

Thank you for your best wishes, I'm really sorry to hear about your Mum. Its just so awful isn't it? I hope you're doing ok.

I lost my Mum in April and have found Christmas unbelievably hard, as I knew it would be. I feel like I won't ever be able to enjoy Christmas again, as it is tainted with the sadness that my Mum won't be a part of it. My two young boys have got me through. It wasn't for them I think I would have just hidden away from it all.

Thinking of everyone who's lost someone and finding it hard. You're not alone. X
