  • Hi,

I lost my friend named Fiona, I miss her too

I'm sorry you are going through this grief, nobody should have to. What was Amanda like? x

  • Hi Dalanfy456,

Dont apologise. I hope you're finding the strength to get through each day.

I lost my dear mum recently, her name was Linda. She was just wonderful, and I miss her so much.

    What was Amanda like?

Lots of love and hugs x

  • Hi, winne

Thank you for your reply I'm so sorry for your loss x

Amanda well what can I say a fighter till the end such an insperation . Never wanted me to get down about her illness because she knew how I would feel when it was all over and omg how right Amanda was x it's so painful but I know she is at peace and pain free looking down on me and kicking me up the backside when I get down x

    Your Fiona?

Tell me what was the best thing x

  • Hi there,

I'm sorry for your loss x

Amanda was amazing we had some good years together once at an iron maiden concert about 20 thousand people and all she was worried about was the people behind us asking them if they could see lol we ended up at the back in the end lol so considerate to others a wonderful lady x

  • Hi gtp,

Thank you for your reply x

It's so difficult sometimes especially when I get home from work at night Amanda use to live hearing me go on about work and so on, it's just silent now x

  • Amanda sounds like a wonderful and strong person, I'm sure the world is a much poorer place without her.

Fiona was also such a fighter, always worried about others before herself. She ran a kennels and was always so proud of how well cared for the animals were! She gave me the oppertunity to work ther after she heard I was struggling mentally and I can safely say she saved my life with her kindness. I often visit her personal pets and think about how different their lives would be had she not taken them into her home. Her father passed away from cancer 18 years ago, just before her sons were born and she spent almost every year since fundraising for macmillan and other cancer support charities. It seems cancer always takes the best people. But i suppose if you're in a medow, its the prettiest flower you pick...

  • Wow. Amanda would have loved Fiona animal lover always horses and dogs they would have got in so well I can tell x it's such a horrible illnes for everyone to encounter close up x we knew the day would come but it went so quickly x

  • Wow fiona loves horses too! It sounds like they would've been great friends! Fiona had this lovely horse called Duncan who shed put in this adorable zebra coat! I don't think you're ever ready to lose someone you love to such an unfair illness, allbeit you knew for years, months, weeks or days, its always far too soon x

  • Way to soon no matter what Amanda was only 50 in April just gone we had a small party down the yard where we looked after her best friend Micky Finn a coonnemara cob a beautiful kind almost Human friendship they had x

  • Fiona a similar age, had just celebrated her 25th anniversary with her husband. I wish they could've met, I'm sure they'd have gotten on like a house on fire! Honestly horses are just so intellegent its hard to not feel like they're a human at times! Connemara cob's are absolutely gorgeous animas!!!
