I spent my husbands 70th birthday in February at my brother's bedside as he passed. Three weeks later I was diagnosed with stage 4 OC. My husband had been diagnosed with terminal oesophagus cancer last year. At beginning of September I was taken into hospital with COVID luckily it was a mild case. My husband also had it. Then my sister- in- law ( my brother's wife and also my best friend) had COVID and sadly died aged 63 on 15 September.
On 19th October my husband passed away and I am struggling. I have been referred for bereavement counselling but haven't heard anything. I do have family who are very supportive but I am feeling overwhelmed by it all. Shielding and the lockdowns haven't helped.
