It must be so difficult losing both parents so close to eachother...I am truly sorry you are having to go through this grief, its so much to handle. I find relif from my own grief by spending time around animals, especially dogs, they always seem to make me smile, even if it is just for a second. Are there any activities or hobbies that help you cope, or at least make you smile?

I lost my dad 2 weeks ago today after a very short 6 week battle with Lung and Liver cancer - i'm not coping, My dad was my everything my hero my protector my biggest supporter. everythinbg is telling me to be strong for my Mum but i feel like screaming i've lost my dad too.

it was so quick but still so awful to watch my strong dad deteriorate so quickly the last week he was with us was horrendous he became a shell of himself not able to stand by himself and i felt he lost all his dignity having to have his daughter help him dress and get on the comode.

People tell me i have to be brave but they dont see me sat in the bathroom crying - or waking up crying in the night. i keep thinking i will see him or here his voice - this is killing me
