Been just over 2 years since I lost my sister!

Hi, My name is Susie, I just want to reach out to anyone who has recently lost a family member, sibling or a close relative, to this awful disease, I'm still finding  it fairly hard in the realisation that she is not with us anymore,  those first few weeks and months were the hardest and most painful for me, and I'm still struggling to some extent now. I've not been on here for over a year I think, but if there is anyone who wants to reach out for some strength I'm here to listen.

  • hi susie.

so sorry for your loss. My sister is in a hospice. she has terminal triple negative breast cancer. she now appears to have bowel problems due to the cancer progressing. she is so weak and exhausted. she is seeing her oncologist Tuesday and we have been told by the palliative care team that the oncologist may well end treatment. I am so worried and scared for her. she may not have long. it's the end I am so very frightened of. she is my younger sister 44 and I feel so helpless and scared for her. wonder how I am going to cope with the end.
