Just an up date on my mum she was given 6months to live well unfortunately mum passed on Wednesday just 6 weeks from being told she had cancer one of the most heart breaking things I will have to go through mum is at rest now
I'm so sorry to hear your news about your mom. It's the hardest thing you will go through, i've been there and i'm going through it now.
Dad passed away 19 months ago and now my mom has been diagnosed with cancer. Only people that have lost a parent fully understand what you are going through. Regarding Dad, people said that the raw emotion of your loss will ease in time and they will be replaced with happy memories. I didn't believe them at the time but you know what, they were right. Memories of my father make me smile every day. Nothing can prepare you for the shock of losing a parent in the way that you have. I don't know you but i can assure you that i'll be thinking of you. Oh Simon, I'm so sorry you're going through this painful experience and I am thinking about you and your family. I lost my dad 2 and a half weeks ago. He also had a short period of time, 10 weeks, from his diagnosis of a brain tumour to passing away. I definitely understand, as so many others do on here, the trauma of such a terribly sad time of loss and absolute change. One day at a time x
