Over two weeks since we lost my lovely, amazing dad, we said a final goodbye to him today. Not the send off we would have chosen with many family and friends unable to be there but we did the best we could but feel so sad, empty and bereft. 

I know it will get better as I know for certain dad is reunited with mum and I hope this post gives someone some comfort that things will get better after all the sadness has faded.
