Loss of my Grandpa

I'm note really sure why I'm writing on here.
I lost my Grandpa 9 months ago, I constantly cry and get upset knowing he's no longer here. People say time will heal it but it doesn't. I can still hear some of his last words or see him crying and it breaks my heart every time.
I'm not coping with losing him, so I'm just looking for some guidance or something? Thanks

  • Hi caronrhi,

I'm very sorry to read about your Grandpa and how you're feeling. I know sometimes people can offer advice and it's not always useful in these situations, but do try to believe things will get easier - or at least more manageable - gradually over time. Grief can be a complex thing and there are no set rules. Keep on taking things a day at a time and keep on speaking to others too, where you feel it would help.

We're always here for support on this forum should you need it - and I know there will be others here going through something similar.

    Wishing you all the best,

    Ben
