My mum died today at 0410 hrs at the Marie curie hospice in Edinburgh. She died with me holding her hand and she knew she wasn't alone. She was brave to the end and I will miss her so much.
I can't think of any words that could make a difference I'm so sorry for your loss its good (if that's the right word) to hear you were with her on her last journey as she was with you on your first.losing a parent is the worst pain a person can go through I lost my hero (my dad,) 3months ago now emotions are like a rollercoaster when you are faced with grief the next couple of days are going to be extremely hard follow your feelings and scream at the world if you have to I know I did! You will have good days and bad but remember mum is now at peace and has carried your love with her our loved ones are always going to be with us as we carry them inside your mum will always be with you as will my dad I have a locket with his fingerprint on that the funeral director helped me get my heart and best wishes go out to you at this horrible time take care of yourself and take each day as it comes
