If she is still able to communicate, then write a list of all the things you would like to say to her. Even if she is not the sentimental type, make that list, just in case there is an appropriate time to say any of them. It might sound strange but with all the sadness and despair, it is easy to forget things. You dont want to regret the things you did not say later
