Hi there,
I think we have posted each before as I too lost my husband to pancreatic cancer 1 year ago tomorrow! Yes cancer does suck on every level, I still and always will never understand why it takes the most beautiful people in this world and we are left heartbroken .
I have woken today kissed my husbands picture like I do every morning and evening and and i’m longing for the day we can be back together again and only then will I be happy again. We were so telepathic and connected to each other that it feels some one has cut the line and there is no one the other end. As I questioned him what he would doing today a convey of old Porsche cars went passed my house this morning with the numbers 10,11, and 12 on the cars. My husband was a huge car fanatic and went to a lot of car shows and often spoke about getting an old Porsche when we retire! Our wedding anniversary was on the 10th my birthday is on the 11th and his birthday was on the 12th so I hope that was his way of telling me he is off with those cars and enjoying the free time he has now to enjoy himself, he deserves it after all he went through.
So sorry to go on, I have to hold on to all this little things to help me get through my days without him, I hope you are ok as it is still so tough for you, I hope you have some little moments of what your husband would be doing now he is out of that awful pain, if so hold on to them as it does help knowing that his ok.
Iam so sorry for your loss of your husband and now your uncle, we can only hope one day Cancer no longer takes our loved ones.
Sending you lots of love and strength,
