Hello Bex,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My mum has incurable cancer and already I cannot even comprehend loosing her. What you have gone through is dearly upsetting and you need to take some time for yourself. To look at how strong you are, how brave you’ve been and what you’ve done to look after yourself.
You are allowed to grieve, you’re allowed to cry, if anything you must cry. You must let it all out, you should cry as much as you want because you don’t want those emotions being balled up. You should talk to someone a friend, a family member, or a councillor. Someone who will just sit with you and listen. You can tell them you’re angry, you can rant and hate the world tell them it isn’t fair because you know what it isn’t. Life works in mysterious ways and I’m never going to understand why it takes the ones we love. The ones who are beautiful, and you know what we will never get an answer. Never. But what you can do is just keep doing what you’re doing.
Keep living. Keep fighting. Keep being brave and showing yourself that you can carry on with life.
You are strong and you are brave. Life will throw everything it has at you but you are not going to let them bring you down. Never forget your parents, mourn for your parents but remember you are making them proud everyday by just living.
