We have just had a chat with dad’s dr at the hospice, he was brought here yesterday completely unconscious after two hefty seizures. He has primary cancer of the lungs (but they can’t find any tumours) that has spread to the brain causing multiple tumours.
He has not woken up yet, dr has said there is no reason to do with medicine why he would still be unconscious so they will give him until morning to come round, if it gets to then and there is still no sign of him waking they don’t think he will ever regain consciousness. I would love to say that he’s responding in some ways to the people around him but I’m doubting that constantly. He seems to be slowly slipping away and it’s breaking our hearts second by second.
