Good evening...it's 6 weeks since I saw my Dad & spoke to him & heard his voice..Dad passed away on 17th January..Dad had been in a care home for 11 weeks.. Prior to that Dad had been in hospital since 22nd August..Dad had suffered from bowel obstruction, sepsis and pneumonia..It has been expected, Dad had a diagnosis of mixed dementia on 13th August..We were all going to support him & get the help he needed, but unfortunately 6 days after the diagnosis, Dad was in hospital & he never came home..I miss him so much, miss his voice, my Mam is missing him so much too..They were married for 54 years...Just don't really know how I feel or how I should be...
