My mum passed away on friday 22nd feb 19 to lung cancer , but im so not convinced they told us the truth ,as she was only diagnosed in october 2018

It seems to been so quick her dying and being diagnosed , i just cant believe it 5months and now shes gone 

She was given a high dose of radium in december , which made her really poorly 

Then had her 1st chemo session in jan , she was due another kemo session on 11th feb but was told they couldnt give it to het as her kindeys were failing due to the radium so they kept her in hospital on oxygen and she never came home 

My sister and i spent every day and some nights with her watching her fade b4 our eyes to be told there wasnt any more they could do , but when mum was diagnosed was told it was treatable 

So how come we have now lost her it just doesnt make any sence and i cant come to terms with loosing her she was only 76 and wasnt aperson to get sick why has this happened
