My dad lost his battle against Prostate cancer

My dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2010. He was immediately put on Hormonal treatment of Zoladex which worked for 7 years. In January 2017, the  cancer spread to his bladder, which was removed and told to go for Chemotherapy, but he opted for Radiotherapy. Unfortunately, by September 2017, he was told that the cancer had spread to his vital organs and that nothing else could be done. He was told he had 3 months, he did live for 4 months and passed away on January 19th 2018. He was not in pai, but he wanted to live and hoped that he would pull through. I read people’s experiences on this website in those 4 months which helped me a bit in what to expect. 3 moths after his death, I still find it hard to let go as I was very close to him. In the last week, he was having difficulties breathing, but he held on.  I am consoled by the fact that I spent time with him.
