My lovely Mum passed away in October 2017 from lung cancer, and this week, her best friend also passed away from lung cancer. It was so sudden. She was feeling poorly over Christmas and was taken to hospital. I'm so sad.

I'm really sorry to hear about the loss of your mum's best friend to lung cancer Chloe.
I just wanted to stop by to offer my condolences and let you know we're thinking of you and are always here for you if you need us.
Kind regards,

Hello Chloe2008. Just been reading your previous posts. Sorry your mum's best friend has now also died and from lung cancer too. It's not just the loss of (I imagine) somebody you knew and liked but it is another bit of your mum that has now gone. We (well me) have a mental picture of the people in our lives. Family close, a bit looser for other relatives and their friends and our own friends. Then bits of the picture start disappearing.... It can be frightening how time relentlessly marches on.
Take as long as you need to grieve - I read in one of your previous posts that you felt you should me more "together" after two months. That may be enough for some people in some circumstances but this is your mum, and you miss her so don't try to stop yourself grieving. I found that the changes in grieving are almost imperceptible but eventually they will happen millimetre by millimetre. And grieve for her friend too. Take care of yourself.
Chloe,
I'm so sorry for the loss of your mother and the loss of your mom's best friend. Please know that you are in my thoughts and take the necessary time that you need to grieve. Don't let anyone tell you how to feel or think. Be well.
Thanks Annieliz and Northern232001 for your kind responses. Bad day yesterday. Never been so !ost and I feel such guilt. Hope today will be slightly easier. X
