I lost my mam in similar circumstances. She developed a cough at Easter and was gone by the end of July. I had a phone call from my dad to go to A & E and she never regained consciousness - the cancer cells moved to the fluid around her heart. So I have some understanding of how you feel. I remember thinking 'this is too big for me to think about now, I'll think about it later when it doesn't physically hurt.' Getting through this will be the hardest thing you'll ever do. But you will get through it. You will learn to live with this loss in time but everyday will be a little bit sadder than it should be because she isn't there.So sorry for you and your lovely mum
