My lovely husband passed away tonight 6 days after deciding to stop treatment & go on the pathway he was looked after with kindness & dignity & kept comfortable & pain free, he just wasn't strong enough this time to fight his infection I feel quite numb at the moment, I stayed with him in the hospital the whole time & at least he is now at peace & not suffering anymore, Cancer is a horrible disease
