Welcome to Cancer Chat allicat although I'm sorry for the reason it brings you here.
I'm really sorry to hear your grandfather passed away earlier this year but it sounds like he put up a great fight before he did so. So many members on the forum will know how you are feeling and what you are going through right now having gone through the grieving process with their partners, friends or family members and I'm sure they will post soon to offer their support and advice.
In the meantime I have found some information about coping with loss which may help you at this time.
