i just read your post and wanted to say hi and hope you are doing as best as you can. I'm sorry to hear about your mum and your dad. I too lost my mum just recently to lung cancer. She was diagnosed on 22 March, passed away on 23 June and her funeral was 2 July. I don't think it really hit me until after the funeral and I miss her so so much. I'm organising a wee tea party in her memory this Sunday for friends and family whom she left gifts for so that is keeping me going and keeping me busy and positive. I still feel it's all very surreal and don't know what I'll do with myself once the tea party is over but I'm trying not to think too far ahead at the moment and just taking things a day at a time. I'm glad to hear that your mum passed peacefully and like you say, has now been reunited with your dad. I hope knowing that they are watching over you together is of some comfort to you at this difficult time.
just wanted to say how sorry I am that you too have lost your sweet mother, I know the hurt and pain you are feeling right now, I too lost my mum after she was diagnosed with lung cancer on March 22nd and sadly passed away on Friday 13th may 2016 my hearts completely broken my mum was my best friend and soul mate we were inseparable and just feel like I've lost my left arm , thinking of you all stay strong and cherish every moment spent with your mum xx
