Sad passing of a forum friend DanNorth

Hi everyone

i just wanted to pass on the very sad news that DanNorth the lovely, brave young man who had bowel and liver cancer at 32 passed on earlier this week.

I only spoke to him online but after doing that and watching his v logs he was putting on YouTube about his journey I amongst many others I'm sure found him a great inspiration in the way he handled things, I certainly took strength from how he handled things and still will concerning my own situation. Always a kind word and encouragement for others, never failing in his humour and a very very brave young man.

We'll miss your very big personality Dan, that's for sure, sleep well mate x

  • Some very sad news jjoollzz and thank you for taking the time to let Dan's forum friends know.

He was an amazing young man who had so much courage and determination as well as a great sense of humour even in the face of adversity. His video logs were deeply moving and brought it all to life. I am myself quite shocked to learn that he has passed away at such a young age, three months only after diagnosis.

I would like to send our condolences on behalf of Cancer Chat to Dan's family and friends, to those who knew him and loved him. He will be very much missed on this forum.

As you said jjoollzz, he had a big personality that one doesn't forget.
