It was just a matter of time for my Dad once they found the tumour on his lung. He refused all care, he just wanted to die at home. My sister and I kept insisting on hospital/hospice, but he was firm. Looking back, I'm proud of my Dad - he died on his couch, at home - that's how he wanted it, to be at home when he went. We've all got to go, best not do it in a hospital...
