basically my dad got diagnosed with having melonoma back in December 2014 after repeated visits to his doctors for 3 years before that, and his doctor classed it down to being an infection or nothing serious, this all started from a mole on his back that was growing, changing colour, splitting and pussing and bleeding and the doctor still said nothing was wrong, it then spread to his arm pit, had that removed, then two lumps in his stomach, finally it spread to his leg and they refused to move it, all this with no treatment!in November 2015he lost the plot, didn't know how to do anything was like he was a kid all over again, after a long wait in the hospital they finally put him on a ward then sent him for a ct scan after being in the hospital for four days they finally told us the worst that it had spread to his Brain and finally started him on steroids, then referred him to the McMillan cancer specialist then started him on some brown tablets and said he had six months to live! The tablets worked in his system for 6weeks and they wouldn't listen when I told them it wasn't working anymore so after 3 more weeks of being on tablets that wasn't working they finally gave him his first chemo after 1 day he ended up back in hospital, they phoned and said he took a turn for the worst so we went down then and got told he had three weeks left, he got released the next day to go home for the night, then next morning my dad finally gave up the fight and lost his life to cancer on the 13th of February 2016 after a battle lasting just over a year.
