We are so sorry Jackie to hear about the losses you suffered and your daughter's diagnosis. I hope she is recovering well from her surgery. The loss of your friend must have been so tough for you too. As you say, when this happens it makes you wonder whether it will ever end and you feel it is one thing after another. I hope this forum will give you a little comfort as you will meet many here who also feel exactly like you.  And many of our members also have some lovely four-legged companions (woof!) helping them in the face of adversity.

Hi Jackie,  so sorry for your losses. My husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer in January 2013 and 12 weeks later my neice who was 28 was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer.  My beautiful husband passed away in October and I am devastated and I miss him so much.  My neice had chemo,  a mastectomy and radiotherapy and she is doing great.  Hope everything goes well with your daughter take care.  Debbie xxxx
