Cancer

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to share my story here. Last January, my husband had only a cough, we went to hospital to check what's wrong and it turned out he had lungs Cancer in stage 4, two weeks away he passed away. I am still so shocked and in disbelief, I can't get over it specially that he was a non smoker and was only 37

  • Hi Martoota,

I'm so saddened to read about your husband. I just wanted to send you a big supportive hug and hope that you will use the forum to offload to others who will understand what you're going through.

I'm sure others will be along soon to offer their support too.

    Jo xx

  • So sorry to hear that. I too lost someone weeks after diagnosis. Although you must feel robbed of chances to put things into place please try to find some comfort in the fact that he did not suffer a long-drawn out experience I hope and that he wasn't aware/worrying that he didn't have much long left.

It really is a cruel and unexplained disease. Take care .XXX

  • Oh, Martoota,  I am so sory for your loss, such a young age, it just isn't fair.  Please come on this forum and talk anytime, because so many people understand how you feel and it is really helpful to talk to others.

  • Hi Martoota

It just seems so unfair to lose one so young and in such a short period of time.  Offering condolences and a welcome to the forum and hope you can find some added support here. Am a good deal older and lost my husband in January but the grieving process takes time and emotions change from day to day.  Look after yourself and chat here - it helps to offload and know you are not alone. Virtual hugs.Jules
