If you have read my other blog post you will have learned that my lovely father, 47, passed away peacefully on tuesday morning at around 4am. I am writing this post to inspire those who have either lost a relative to cancer or are going through the process of losing someone to cancer or any illness for that matter.
Now I don't know whether it's because I'm young and young people make thousands of mistakes but I was so lucky to have a Dad who was so wise, and had the greatest advice to give, but in my 18 years of life I've learnt some advice off that man that I honestly believe I wouldn't have found anywhere else. When you're young you tend to not listen to your parents and I more than anyone had my moments like that, but now my father is no longer here to guide me in the right path, and to help me avoid doing stupid things, I am alone. My request to you guys is LISTEN TO YOUR PARENTS, whether you agree or not, their advice will come in handy one day, I promise you and you'll wish to hear them say it to you again one day.
I'm not quite sure what I'm trying to say by this post, I think it may be an appreciation post for everything parents do, you don't realise the things your parents give up in order to give you the best possible life until you end up doing it for yourself, in normal life, your parents slowly make you do these things for yourself, but I've had it all in one go, me and my sister alone in a house, 18 & 21 living the life of full grown adults, with a new puppy.
But I have learnt something from all of this I’ve just learned to deal with it, you can’t dwell on what you can’t change, you can only go with the days you have & make the best out of what you have left.
